Your satisfaction is important. Please read our returns policy below.

Change of Mind Returns

Items may be returned within 21 days of receiving your order, provided:

  • The item is unworn and in its original condition
  • The item is returned in the original Yuko Jewellery packaging
  • You have proof of purchase (order confirmation email)

The purchase price (excluding original shipping costs) will be refunded to your original payment method once we receive and inspect the returned item.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked and insured postal service.

Made-to-Order Items

Made-to-order pieces are crafted specifically for you and cannot be returned for change of mind. Please ensure you are happy with your selection before ordering.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Include photos of the damage or fault in your email.

For faulty items, we will:

  • Arrange a replacement or repair at no cost to you
  • Reimburse return postage costs
  • Offer a full refund (including original shipping) if the item cannot be replaced or repaired

Claims for damaged or faulty items are assessed on a case-by-case basis within 7 business days.

Items Damaged in Transit

All orders are sent with tracking and insurance. If your item arrives damaged, please photograph the packaging and item, and contact us immediately. We will lodge a claim with the postal service and arrange a replacement or refund.

How to Return

  1. Contact us first: Email yuko@yukojewellery.com.au with your order number and reason for return
  2. Wait for confirmation: We will confirm your return is approved and provide instructions
  3. Pack securely: Use the original packaging and include your name, phone number, and order details
  4. Ship with tracking: Send via registered, insured mail. We are not liable for items lost or damaged in return transit

Refund Processing

Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days of receiving your return. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If you would like a different piece, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

Store Credit

As an alternative to a refund, you may request store credit. Store credit is valid for three years from the date of issue.

Australian Consumer Law

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure
  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage
  • Repair or replacement if goods fail to be of acceptable quality but the failure does not amount to a major failure
